Reshape the World with Thermofluids & Interfaces
- for Future Oriented Medical Test, Advanced Cooling, and Energy Conversion -
We are a group working on thermofluids and interfaces!
We address interesting interfacial phenomena in nature and intriguing interfacial problems in industry.
We aim to revolutionize the framework of complex wetting from ideal cases to real world; We seek for bottom-up innovations through close interdisciplinery collaborations for the target of cutting-edge medical test, extreme cooling, and advanced energy conversion.
Join us!
The TFI lab (Wang lab) is actively seeking enthusiastic, creative and dedicated researchers to join us!
We are doing interdisciplinery explorations. We welcome students, researchers, and visitors from wide background of thermal science, fluid dynamics, material engineering, surface chemistry, and surface physics.
For most inquiries, Zhenying (Jane) can be reached at wang.zhenying.484@m.kyushu-u.ac.jp or zhenying.wang@mech.kyushu-u.ac.jp.

Kyushu Uni Interview
MIT Thermal Transport Cafe
The talk detailedly explains two representative work published later in JFM and APL with Editor's Pick in 2024. You can get some ideas on how we can derive fundamental theories of wetting from ideal cases to real world (with phase change and with multicomponents)!
